Here are some ways with the Salivate! Citrus Blend…

  • Peel, devein raw prawns leaving the tail on, rub in the blend and leave aside. Meanwhile fry some onion, garlic and ginger in a pan. Add your prawns and fry them until they start to colour. Add some coconut cream and simmer for a few minutes. Serve on some steamed rice with a splash of sesame oil and fresh coriander leaves. Some greens on the side would be great too.

  • Mix the blend with some rice or chickpea flour, dust some fillets of fish and then shallow fry them. Serve them up with a green salad and some steamed baby chats.

  • Grab a whole chicken, mix some garlic and the blend into some butter and then rub it all over the chicken. Get the butter in between skin and the breast so that the flavours really get into the chook. I like to put a wedge of lemon and an onion into the cavity of the bird. Roast until brown and crispy.

  • Onions, garlic, cauliflower - actually whatever vegetables you have on hand - fry up with a shake of the blend. If you’d like to make a warm salad with this, make up a vinaigrette: squeeze orange juice into a bowl, and mix with some good olive oil and some salt. Whisk to emulsify, then pour over your meal. Delicious meal done in 15 minutes!
