Stir Fried Chinese Broccoli with Oyster Sauce

350gm chinese broccoli cut into pieces

1 tbsp vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic finely chopped

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp light soy sauce or tamari
method

Blanch the broccoli in boiling salted water for 2 - 3 minutes then drain thoroughly

Heat oil in the wok or frying pan and stir fry the garlic over a medium heat

Add the broccoli and half the oyster sauce and soy/tamari

Stir Fry over a high heat for 1 - 2 minutes to ensure stems are just tender

Add remaining oyster sauce
